/go click data policy

Some Privte outbound links route through /go/{slug} before redirecting to the vendor. This page describes what we store when you click those links.

What we log

• Redirect slug — which /go/{slug} was clicked.
• Referrer URL — the Privte page you came from (e.g. a kit or product page), when the browser sends it.
• Creator slug — optional ?c={creator} on kit affiliate links for attribution (e.g. co-branded kit maintenance).
• Timestamp — when the click occurred.

What we do not log

• We do not persist raw IP addresses in go_click_events. Rate limiting may use ephemeral in-memory counters only.
• We do not store purchase amounts, cart contents, or vendor account identifiers.

How to avoid /go

Product pages with plain external routing link directly to the vendor with no Privte redirect. On kit pages, use View details to open the product page and choose the non-redirect CTA when available.
